The Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) convened its third meeting for Hotel and Hotel Apartments Group at the Park Hyatt Hotel recently, to discuss a wide range of hospitality-related issues as part of its continuing efforts to offer best practices and raise customer service standards.

The meeting was chaired by the DTCM Director of Operations and Marketing, Mr. Mohammed Khamis bin Hareb in the presence of Ms. Lina Makarem Dergham, Senior Business Development Manager and Mr. Udaya Indrarathna, DTCM Senior Manager, One Stop Information Centre and other DTCM officials.

A team from Dubai Police was invited by the DTCM to clarify the issue of the installation of hotel security cameras.

The DTCM Airport taskforce also held its second meeting with the Department of Civil Aviation. The Jumeirah Group conducted a best practice on medical facilities and DTCM asked them to make a presentation to the rest of the group so as to benefit from the best practice.

The DTCM announced and presented their latest endeavour to provide visitors to Dubai's excellent service through e-terminals or e-kiosks that will soon be set up in different locations. The kiosks will provide comprehensive information on Dubai to help visitors make the best out of their stay in Dubai.
