Marriott Hotels in Jordan support 'Walk the World 2006 for Hunger'

Marriott Hotels in Jordan are pleased to announce that they are one of the main sponsors for 'Walk the World 2006 for Hunger', a global walk that is organized by the United Nations World Food Programme and will take place on the 21st of May 2006.

What inspires the determination to contribute to its communities is a philosophy that Marriott has valued for over 75 years. Marriott calls it the "spirit to serve." Marriott Hotels in Jordan believe that Jordan's children, who form the pillar of its future, stand in need of continued support from society. Therefore, Marriott Hotels in Jordan are extremely honored to be involved with the United Nations World Food Programme in such a noble and worthy cause.

Vatche Yergatian, the General Manager for the Amman Marriott Hotel and Chairman of the Jordan Marriott Hotels Business Council said,

Marriott International manages three properties in Jordan, the Amman Marriott Hotel, the Petra Marriott Hotel and the Jordan Valley Marriott Resort & Spa.
