Tania de Wet, Channel Manager - e-junior, said: 'This initiative was launched with the objective of bringing children from different nationalities and cultures closer to each other. Even though each child presented his own country and wore the national soccer kit used during the World Cup event, groups of children were divided to play side by side as one team. All children participating were presented with a awards along with a set of gift handouts from e-junior.'

'We focus on instilling core values in children and encouraging interactivity through our innovative competitions. Our reputation for exposing children to various cultures and traditions resulted in an overwhelming response from children and parents from all over the country and has significantly assisted our dedicated children's channel in earning the trust of the family in general and specifically the child.'

The games were organized at the English Soccer School of Excellence; one of the leading Dubai soccer schools in the UAE that coaches children between 5 and 16 years old at private clubs, parks, and schools.
