Dubai Shooting 2007 will be organized by STAR EVENTS, an International Exhibitions and event management company, a part of the diversified ETA Ascon Group. The event will be held from 5th- 7th February 2007. The total prize money will be AED one million, making it the richest shooting competition in the world.

The Championship will host over 150 participants from around the world and will be held at the Jebel Ali International Shooting Club in February 2007. The 3-Day event for men and women will kick-off with a spectacular opening ceremony. The competition will be governed by qualified judges and referees appointed by the International Shooting Federation (ISSF).
The International Balloon Festival for the first time is being unveiled this year as an official Dubai Shopping Festival event. Organising the event will be a team from Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta Inc. of New Mexico, where the festival has been held for more than 34 years.
The International Balloon Festival will feature over 100 multi coloured hot air balloons with the pilots displaying their skills in order to entertain the audience, who will also get a chance to be part of the ride.
