Al Ahli Group expands its plastic manufacturing arm

To further define its reputation as the largest plastic film manufacturing in the UAE, and one of the most respected regionally in the field of Petrochemical conversion products.

Upon signing the agreement Mr. Khammas stated "Our Chairman's vision is to utilize the best of what technology has to offer to continue in providing our customers with the best quality products. Cerutti has provided the Central Impression technology to vast number of manufacturers across the globe and have presence all around the world. We have found in them the perfect technology and support system provider for our plastic industries to channel into the Central Impression world."

Al Ahli Plastic Industries will produce over 30,000 tones of Plastic Film Products by the first quarter of 2007 ranging in High density / Low density polyethylene and polypropylene products to specialist products, while maintaining environmental responsibility and complete recycling facility in house to reproduce waste and excess materials from API and the general market.

Mr. Khammas continued "API, much like the rest of Al Ahli Group's manufacturing arms focus on export with equal approach to that of the local market. Allowing for a more stable platform of consistent and progressive growth. We have an agenda to be the best at what we do, and we are ensuring with every expansion we undertake in our existing facilities, and with every new development we build."
