The mission of the Gulf Excellence Award Program is to promote world-class organizational practices by identifying and disseminating information about them. Following this method, the Forum recognized the outstanding accomplishments of PWC Logistics in it's pursuit of performance excellence.
PWC Logistics has been an excellent reflection of a successful privatized company in Kuwait. After its privatization in 1997, the company has made giant leaps in terms of its services from simple warehousing to integrated supply chain solutions. PWC Logistics has grown rapidly in the last year and now has 450 offices in 100 countries across six continents. It has grown from a Middle Eastern company into a global logistics provider.
Khaled Al Mutawa, Managing Director - Strategic Public Sector Initiatives for PWC Logistics accepted the award on behalf of the company at the event. On receiving the award Al Mutawa said:
"The Gulf Excellence Award demonstrates PWC Logistics' huge growth and development to become a leading player in the global logistics industry. Our success is based on our knowledge based investments, state-of-the-art technology, corporate social responsibility and commitment to the local and regional economy."
