Doctors in the UAE are warning of the increased chances of contracting colds and suffering allergies, now that the weather is warming up, reported Gulf News. GPs are stressing that air conditioners can contribute to problems, as people suffer from temperature extremes when going inside after being out in the hot and humid weather. AC units also carry fungus and bacteria into buildings which come into contact with peoples' respiratory tracts.
