The new AJAX technology-based Beta version is a single-page application (SPA) that provides its users with high usability features that enhances the email experience of Gawab users.

"The launch of Webmail 3.0 Beta makes Gawab amongst the first providers of SPA-based free email services in the world," said Amr Rakha, Sales & Marketing Director of Gawab.

Like any SPA interface, Webmail 3.0 Beta makes use of browser-side processing capabilities to minimize server data loading. This translates into unprecedented possibilities in terms of usability. With Webmail 3.0 come new features such as Live Folders for automated message classification, message labels for organizing messages manually, as well as alternative POP/IMAP email service checking.

"The race to dominate email technology in the Middle East proved too long for most contenders," Mr. Rakha added. We pride ourselves on being the only remaining innovator in the field of web messaging in the Middle East, a position we intend to retain and defend for years to come.
