Kempinski builds up executive team with new marketing manager

Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates appointed veteran marketing strategist and hotel industry professional Doaa Amin as Marketing Manager.

She will be primarily responsible for managing the luxury hotel's marketing and communications activities, as well as ensuring compliance with Kempinski's strict brand management standards.

Prior to this appointment, Doaa worked as Executive Office Manager of Kempinski Hotels in the Middle East and Africa, maintaining operational efficiency in the executive office, as well as contributing significantly to the luxury hotel group's marketing and business development activities in the region.

"It was an offer I could not refuse. The challenge inherent in marketing any Kempinski hotel is both inspiring and daunting, but this is exactly the reason why I accepted the job. I am thrilled with the prospects of helping the Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates become the preferred luxury family hotel in the region. It will be fun developing exciting marketing and communications campaigns that will draw tourists from around the GCC and the world to come to the hotel and enjoy its lavishly appointed rooms, as well as other excellent features and offers, including the world's third largest snow park and world-class shopping opportunities," enthused Doaa.

The UK-educated Doaa Amin is a member of the London-based Chartered Institute of Marketing, and has had extensive experience in the international hotel industry. Among the highlights of her career include a stint in Dubai's Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing - DTCM.

Although barely warming up in her new assignment, Doaa has successfully launched the hotel in April 2006 after inaugurating the F&B concept "Sezzam Dining" at Mall of the Emirates while effectively establishing Kempinski's corporate visual identity for the Middle East region.

Commenting on Doaa's appointment, Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates General Manager, Michael Henssler said, "We're delighted to have a person of Doaa's caliber to join our team. We have great expectations from her, and judging from her rapidly increasing list of accomplishments, we have every confidence that she will deliver."
