More British companies than ever are looking for business opportunities through the exhibition which brings together international manufacturers and retailers in the cosmetics industry with key buyers and distributors from the Middle East region.
Beauty world/Wellness & Spas Middle East is the largest and most successful beauty and wellness & spas event in the whole region with over 750 exhibitors representing 1000 brands from 45 countries around the world.
'Spending on beauty products in the Gulf region is likely to have exceeded Dh7.7 billion ($2.1 billion) last year,' industry officials say. The average purchase of cosmetics and fragrances in the region is about $334 (Dh1, 228). In 2004, the estimated market size for cosmetics and toiletries for men in the UAE was about $ 415 million.
British participation at Beauty World Exhibition
14 British companies, sponsored by Birmingham Chamber of Commerce and UK Trade and Investment, are exhibiting at the 11th Beauty World Middle East exhibition at Dubai World Trade Centre 22-24 May 2006.
