Gargash Enterprises takes Best Mercedes-Benz Mid-East distributor award for second year

Johannes Fritz, Director, Sales and Marketing, Mercedes Car Group, Middle East, and Chris Vallance, Regional Sales Manager, presented the award to Richard Barber, General Manager, Gargash Enterprises, at a recent ceremony.

In 2005 Gargash Enterprises increased its Mercedes-Benz sales by 30% over 2004 to a record 4.004 units. The company also recorded solid results in the first quarter of 2006 helping boost Mercedes Car Group's regional sales by 21% from 3,766 to 4,558 over the same period in 2005.

"It's an honour to receive this award for the second year in sucession and a tribute to the expertise and professionalism of our staff who work hard to ensure that Mercedes-Benz continues to be the UAE's leading luxury automotive brand," said Barber. "With the new six-seater R-Class grand sports tourer in our showrooms, the imminent arrival of the new generation E-Class and the brand's first full-size SUV, the GL-Class, planned for later this year, we are looking forward to a hat-trick of wins."
