MTC-Vodafone launches 3.5G

MTC-Vodafone has launched the region's first new high speed 3.5G technology, or High Speed Downlink Packet Access, in Bahrain. HSDPA is one of the world's fastest wireless broadband access technologies, using mobile phones and Data Connect. It increases the speed of downlinking data to five times that of existing 3G networks, and 15 times faster than GPRS networks.
