  • United Arab Emirates: Monday, May 22 - 2006 at 14:11
  • PRESS RELEASE

Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) has selected the Oracle HRMS (Human Resources Management System) a key component of the OracleŽ E-Business Suite to integrate its HR processes and further optimize its operations in the UAE and globally.

Mindscape Information Technology, leading systems integrator for the financial services industry and Oracle Certified Partner will implement the solution and manage systems integration.

DIB will rollout the entire Oracle HRMS in two phases by end of this year. In the first phase, modules to be implemented will include Oracle Human Resources, Oracle Payroll, Oracle Self-Service Human Resources and Oracle Time and Labor. The second phase will constitute implementation of Oracle Learning Management and
iRecruitment modules.

The Oracle Payroll's core payroll engine localized for UAE will provide organization-wide control of workforce payroll and compensation data along with the ability to create personalized compensation policies and programs. As DIB expands its offices globally the bank will deeply benefit in managing compensation with one global payroll engine that will utilize country specific localizations.

"We recognised the growth potential and feel we can really benefit from implementing more technically advanced solutions that would help the organisation," said Nadeem Busheri, Head of IT, Dubai Islamic Bank. Busheri comments that investment in Oracle HRMS is strategic as the bank foresees steady growth in employee base and wants to leverage on the latest enterprise technology to support various workforce transformation initiatives.

Speaking on the implementation, Sohail Khan, VP - Global Business Development, Mindscape said, "We are excited to work with DIB in its ongoing e-business transformation, which further strengthens the relationship between our two organizations. Oracle's technology solutions coupled with our strong domain knowledge of the financial industry, will result in a win-win situation for all parties."
