Etisalat looks at VoIP

UAE residents could get drastically cheaper international phone calls through Voice over Internet Protocol, as Etisalat looks likely to support the service in the future, according to Gulf News. The company has commissioned a study on VoIP, an Etisalat official told the newspaper, which it could introduce by the end of the year if it gets approval from the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority.
