The charter company has announced it is in the final stages of concluding similar agreements for offices in Egypt, Bahrain and Kuwait.

The agreements were separately signed between Elie Abdo, business development director at IAC and Fahd Al-Darwish of Fahd Travels and Nicos El Khattab of S.N.M. Master Aviation, appointing them as IAC representatives for Qatar and Cyprus respectively.

Commenting on the deals, Courtenay said:
"Our agreements with Fahd Travels and S.N.M. Master Aviation are in line with our plans to expand IAC's operations in the Middle East. This will enable us to tap into the growing regional market for VIP and medical charter travel, particularly in the key markets of Qatar and Cyprus."

"The explosive growth in the region's corporate sector has generated much demand for IAC's charter services. The new offices will efficiently cater to the increasing number of corporate inquiries and benefit customers who no longer need to rely on our Dubai office for their charter travel requirements but can avail of our services in their own cities," he added.

Headquartered in Doha, Fahd Travels has five branches across Qatar and has been in the airline business for the past five decades, representing some of the world's major airlines. Besides drawing clients from the rapidly expanding market segments of Qatar's VIP and medical charter travel, Fahd Travels will also help IAC meet the huge transportation demand generated by the upcoming 15th Asian Games, where event organisers expect around 35,000 international players, media and visitors to converge in Doha for the Games.

S.N.M. Master Aviation is a leading aviation service provider in Cyprus. As IAC's representative in that country, S.N.M. Master Aviation will strive to boost brand awareness of IAC and will leverage its contacts and considerable market expertise to drive the aircraft charter broker's sales in Cyprus.
