Al-Othman Group invests in future

A new company named Al-Othman UltraPak was formed on May 1st 2006 to manage production and marketing of pre-forms.

Al-Othman Group brings to the business a vast experience through its subsidiary companies that are in the business of plastic packaging for over 25 years. The PET pre-form factory acquisition is a result of a sound business history between Al-Othman and Tetra Pak Saudi Arabia who developed and operated the PET pre-form factory for the last 9 years.

The newly established company Al-Othman UltraPak will be operating from the same premises in Jeddah, Warehouse City and will utilize the experience and knowledge of the existing production and management team to ensure the ownership transition will have no impact on production and deliveries and will prepare the new company for future growth.

"In addition to our company experience in the field of plastics, quality & customer service, this new acquisition will bring to the customers more innovative technology in the future for the packaging of carbonated soft drinks, water, juice and milk markets".

"I'm confident after the negotiations and deal with Al-Othman Group that the PET pre-form factory will further carry on the commitment to manufacture a world class products and to provide excellent support to all it's valued customers in the region. At a same time the acquisition will allow Tetra Pak Saudi Arabia to focus on it's core carton manufacturing business" said Amar Zahid.
