UAE motorists will now be able to make cash-only transactions at over 54 ENOC/EPPCO service stations in Dubai. All transactions will be recorded on customers' DEWA accounts using specially developed software which has been created by LETS, a wholly-owned ENOC subsidiary that provides enterprise solutions.
Commenting on the initiative, Sultan said:
"Our partnership with DEWA will provide our customers with a valuable and convenient service. This is just one example of how ENOC is developing its service stations to bring benefits to customers. We are anticipating that this service will be very popular."
To guarantee smooth operation, all ENOC/EPPCO staff who will manage the DEWA transactions have been specially trained to use the software. Customers will be able to pay their DEWA bills at the normal cashier in ENOC/EPPCO service stations in Dubai.
H. E. Saeed Mohammad Al Tayer, MD and CEO of DEWA said: "DEWA aims in its partnership with ENOC at enhancing its mission to obtain customer satisfaction by selecting different ways to save customers' time and efforts and simplify procedures to enhance its services to the highest standards. ENOC is a strategic partner for DEWA and its stations are spread all over Dubai, we believe that this new service will contribute in spreading DEWA's services in all areas as well, mainly the bill payments. This will reflect positively on customer satisfaction, as we shall reach out to customers wherever convenient to them. "
Al Tayer also added that DEWA's various services have reached out to all customers, particularly after the opening of its new modern office network which is spread all over Dubai. This service is an added advantage and widens the network services. Further, additional services are offered through the internet as well making it possible for customers to finalise their transactions without having to move from their offices or homes.
"We have positioned ENOC as the leading Energy Partner of Choice and it is only fitting that our service stations are the first in Dubai to offer this service," concluded Sultan.
Motorists who make their DEWA payments before 3.00pm will have the amount credited to their DEWA account on the same day whilst transactions after 3.00pm will be cleared into their account on the next working day.
After the transaction has been completed, customers will have their account number and details keyed into the ENOC software, which is linked daily to DEWA. They will then be given a receipt with their DEWA account number.
