Christies holds Dubai auction

Christies is holding its first auction in Dubai tonight (Tuesday), at which a range of contemporary art pieces will go to the highest bidder. Works are largely from the Middle East, Iran, India and Pakistan. Opening prices over the 129 lots range from $3,500 to between $400,000 and $600,000.
