The move comes as Exomos looks to leverage international expertise and embrace global standards of manufacturing to further its business objectives and scientific goals, and provide superior quality craft to its clients.

Exomos is a member company of Dubai's Ports, Customs and Free zone Corporation (PCFC) and conceptualizes designs and manufactures its vessels in the Dubai Jebel Ali Free Zone. Its ISO certification is a testament to indigenous manufacturing capabilities coupled with international talent.

"We have been undertaking extensive preparations for the ISO certification process since September last year, and are very heartened at the fruition of our efforts. Exomos operates with stringent standards and very tight quality controls to ensure integrity and utmost safety in all our vessels. The ISO certification is a guarantee of our excellence in manufacturing and will certainly reinforce our credentials as leading submersible manufacturer,"

said Herve Jaubert, CEO, Exomos.

Exomos' vessels are known for their versatility and cutting edge technology. Exomos offerings include the SPV, a first of its kind submersible patrol vessel for police and law enforcement officials, along with its civilian version, The Proteus. Also available is a high-speed trimaran cruiser that can carry 10 passengers at a speed estimated in excess of 70 knots, and the new TURBO JET 600 Exomos Airboat which is capable of high speeds even in one-inch shallow water. Exomos recently launched the Nautilus, retro styled submarine inspired by Jules Verne's 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. The Nautilus is billed as a sea excursion, exploration and tourist submarine. The submarine's eye-catching design and antique look complement its tourist craft credentials while the interior boasts advanced technology to ensure passenger safety and comfort.

Mohammed Amin, Deputy Chief of Operations and Senior Marketing Manager, Exomos said, "Exomos is committed to excellence in innovation, and cultivates first-class talent from the world over to form a regional centre of knowledge in Dubai. We are looking to make meaningful contributions to the vision and development of Dubai as premier tourist and commercial destination, and recognition of our efforts through the ISO certification proves that the region is not lacking in talent or knowledge, and can compete internationally."
