Kuwait Finance House, Bahrain (KFH-Bahrain), a leading Islamic commercial and investment bank, today revealed its US$ 150 million Ishbiliya Village development to the Middle East's real estate market at Property Arabia 2006, the region's leading international property and investment exhibition, currently taking place at the Bahrain International Exhibition Center.

The unique development, funded and owned by KFH-Bahrain and it's investors, introduces into the Bahrain real-estate market a new concept in living with reasonable priced housing and modern apartments combined within a dynamic environment, established according to world-class architectural and building standards including main and secondary roads and communal areas which will be designed to perfection.

The Ishbiliya Village stand, attracted crowds of Bahrainis and GCC nationals who found the 176,000m2 sized development truly unique in its concept of a vibrant environment that provides maximum lifestyle amenities to residents and maximum benefit to commercial tenants. It will be located in close proximately to the heart of Manama overlooking shaikh Khalifa Highway leading to King Fahad causeway.

"The exhibition provided an excellent platform to showcase the Ishbilliya Village to investors and future homeowners of this region. We witnessed immense interest in the project, among the visitors of Property Arabia 2006, and this is a reflection of the niche in the Bahrain real-estate market to provide affordable luxury accommodation & housing in a unique lively environment with commercial conveniences. We are confident of the success of this project for the Kingdom of Bahrain,"

said, Mr. Abdulhakeem Al Khayyat General Manager of KFH-Bahrain.

The Ishbiliya Village will boast over 300 beautifully appointed villas of varying size and price, these include single detached villas and row houses. In addition, for those seeking smaller properties, there are some 500 apartments also planned for the development.

Commercial units will also serve as an integral component of the project with the development of a mall, retail shops and restaurants. Other community based services will also be created for residents of Ishbiliya village, including common areas to gather, places of worship, private educational facilities for youngsters and public parks.
