EDI raises the bar, opens Instructor Training Centre
- United Arab Emirates: Wednesday, May 24 - 2006 at 13:57
- PRESS RELEASE
Emirates Driving Institute (EDI), the region's largest and most successful driving institute, has opened an Instructor Training Centre.
The Centre will concentrate on developing the communication skills and improve the teaching methods adopted by the EDI trainers. It will also assist them in solving the problems the trainers face while teaching and help improve their decision-making skills.
The Centre started functioning two months ago and has resulted in remarkable improvement in the quality of driver training. EDI hopes that the model will soon be emulated by other driver training institutes, transport companies and all companies with fleet of vehicles in the region.
The Instructor Training Centre will initially train EDI instructors only. But the service will be gradually extended to include instructors from other institutes, driving schools and the fleet industry.
The EDI Driving Instructor Training Programme is a pioneering effort focused on delivering excellence through its instructors. It is also indicative of the premier institute's commitment to road safety and customer focus through effective business processes.
EDI believes that trained, experienced instructors tend to be calmer, better teachers and can provide a special and positive learning experience to students.
