'Walk of Beauty' Show wows crowds

MADI International, the leading hair and beauty salon supplier and the regional distributor of the professional hair care brand, Kadus, brought to a close today the 'Walk of Beauty by Kadus' show, an international hairdressing and beauty show that witnessed over 2,500 visitors since it opened on May 22nd 2006.

With top regional and international names in the world of professional beauty, hair care, make-up artists and jewelers on hand, the show also witnessed Lebanon's singing sensation, Diva Madeleine Matar, who took to the stage and performed a variety of her top hit songs.

The 'Walk of Beauty by Kadus' show is an integral part of 'Beautyworld Middle East,' the international fair for beauty and wellness. With eleven shows a day, the 'Walk of Beauty by Kadus' provided the perfect platform for the region's top hair styling professionals, make-up artists and jewelers to showcase their creative talents and trends in the world of beauty, in a live audio-visual show on a purpose built catwalk.

Among the talent were the Lebanese born Joe Jabsi, a renowned hair stylist on the top ten hairdressers list in the United States, Patrick Augustin, the world renowned hair dresser from France, Nidal Hassan, an expert in hair couture, and his brother, Zihar Hassan, a professional fashion designer, and many more all of whom presented their very latest styles and techniques to a live audience.

Now in its 11th year the show, which has grown 40% since last year, was aimed at a wide spectrum of professionals; over 8500 visitors flocked to the exhibition from within the industry, this includes retailers, nail technicians, hair stylists and owners of the latest exclusive spas. The beauty industry has an estimated regional value of US $1.7 billion resulting from per capita expenditure of $317 per annum; both suppliers and buyers are keen to gain an increased share of this fast growing market.

Organised by Messe Frankfurt Dubai, the show features thousands of new products and services including perfumes, cosmetics, skin care, nail care, body care, hair products, salon and wellness equipment, natural products, ingredients and raw materials, packaging, wellness and spa centers. Over 750 exhibitors from over 45 countries will showcase their products, including numerous national pavilions and trade associations.
