Following speculation earlier last week, the Qatari government has confirmed that it will indeed allow companies to buy back their own shares, reported Bloomberg. A statement on the bourse's web site revealed that the Doha Securities Market's Committee will outline the terms of the new law. Doha's decision follows that of the DFM at the start of last week.
