BEA wins Gold ITSMA Marketing Excellence Award in 'Launching New Solutions' category

BEA Systems, Inc., a world leader in enterprise infrastructure, has recently announced that it has been named a Gold winner in the Information Technology Services Marketing Association's (ITSMA) 2005 Marketing Excellence Awards for its BEA Solution Frameworks initiative.

The Marketing Excellence Award for launching new solutions recognizes companies that achieve excellence in developing, marketing and selling new solutions. Winners were selected by an international panel of executives and experts.

BEA received the award for transforming the company's traditional product-driven approach to a business value-driven, solutions-oriented approach. The change entailed the company developing solution offerings with strong value-based messaging and an integrated go-to-market approach across products, partners and services. Important enablers of this shift included moving to a solution-selling model and influencing the company's culture and investment mindset.
