DED and Tejari to launch mylinkDubai.com in June

The Dubai Department of Economic Development (DED) and Tejari, the Middle East Online Marketplace, announced that the new online service mylinkDubai.com will be available in June for DED registered companies.

The new service comes as part of the DED's continuing efforts to provide value added services to its clients and move towards empowering Dubai's businesses with e-Commerce capabilities to support the progress of transformation of Dubai to the Knowledge Economy.

Starting June, all organizations licensed by the DED, will have automatic access to mylinkDubai.com, the service that enables online market-making for businesses of all sizes and is facilitated through a quick and affordable one-time registration on the link trading community.

"The DED is committed to provide value added services to its clients and facilitate the business process in Dubai as part of its role in the economic development of Dubai,"

said Sultan Ali Lootah, Head of the IT Division, DED.

"The new service is another step forward towards fulfilling the vision of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai of transforming the emirate to a Knowledge-based Economy," he added.

"The launch of myLinkDubai.com to the wider Dubai community is the culmination of months of technology innovation invested to deliver the benefits of online commerce to organizations of every size and industry sector. When the new service goes live thousands of businesses will have an exciting new channel for commercial opportunities," said Abdulla Salman, Director of Marketing, Tejari.

Through 'mylinkDubai.com' the companies will automatically receive a designated website to ensure a significant web presence for each company. In addition, they will be added to a national online directory, join a message centre to facilitate trading leads, and receive space for electronic product showrooms and e-exhibition functionality.
