DTCM honours outstanding employees

The winners of the HAWAFEZ initiative were selected based on their performance in various categories including best support, best employee, best supervisor, best customer service and best working team.

The awards consisting of plaques, certificates of appreciation and prizes were given away to the deserving candidates by the DTCM Director General Mr. Khalid A bin Sulayem.

The DTCM Director Operations and Marketing, Mr. Mohammed Khamis bin Hareb and DTCM Manager Human Resources Mr. Ibrahim Yaqoot, were among those who graced the occasion.

The winning employees were selected in recognition of their valuable suggestions which would help develop effective systems and procedures and enhance performance within the organisation.

Mr. bin Sulayem said: "The department constantly strives to encourage employees by coming up with various initiatives whereby they can participate. Two such initiatives are HAWAFEZ and Dubai Government Excellence Programme where the best employees in various categories and hard-working employees coming up with innovative projects are rewarded."

"The initiative is a step further in global communication and will greatly help improvise the DTCM work procedures and enhance its image, both internally and externally," he remarked.

The winners were chosen based on their performance in the last quarter of 2005 and the first quarter of 2006.
