Iran to invest $1bn in Iraq

Iran is ready to help neighbouring Iraq with an investment plan totalling $1bn, reported the AFP. The Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki said that his country was planning investment in oil, electricity, hospitals and other services. He added that the projects would be carried out in Shia provinces or in Kurdish ones.
