Marriott eyes UAE expansion

Marriott International is planning a major expansion in the UAE, with its single Dubai hotel being joined by at least 11 more, reported Emirates Today. A senior official said that Marriott plans to open at least one five star hotel in each emirate with Dubai having five high class hotels and Abu Dhabi two. The company's other brands, Marriott Executive Apartments and the four star Courtyard, will also be significantly expanded.
