KV announces major participation in NAFSA 2006 Annual Conference & Expo

Dubai Knowledge Village (KV)announced its participation in NAFSA 2006 Annual Conference & Expo, the association of individuals' advancing international education and exchange worldwide.
Exploring the theme, 'Advancing our international commitment', NAFSA 2006 will be held from May 21 - 26, at the Palais des Congrès de Montréal, Québec, Canada.
Dr. Abdulla Al Karam, CEO Dubai Knowledge Village said: "We are keen to develop stronger ties with the knowledge industry market and our participation in NAFSA provides us with a platform where leading international educators, administrators, policy makers and decision makers will be gathered.
The Conference will allow us to showcase the Knowledge Village model and communicate what KV provides for higher education, especially to students who have financial or cultural obstacles and can't travel abroad for studies, well now KV offers the chance of international education in UAE".
At NAFSA, Simone Jucker, the Canadian Trade Commissioner in UAE will deliver a presentation on 'Education Market in the Gulf Region - A Canadian Perspective'.
NAFSA: Association of International Educators is the world's largest professional association dedicated to international education. With more than 9,000 members, NAFSA seeks to increase awareness of and support for international education and exchange in higher education, government, and the community.
NAFSA was founded in 1948 as the National Association of Foreign Student Advisers to promote the professional development of American college and university officials responsible for assisting and advising the 25,000 foreign students who had come to study in the United States after World War II.
