Malaysian-born, Wong arrived in Dubai after a 2-year assignment at the Le Meridien Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. There, his main responsibilities included overseeing the entire Training pre-opening programmes, as well as being the corporate Champion for all Le Meridien corporate training programmes.
Having been in the hospitality industry for 15 years, Wong's working experience started in the Banquet department before he decided that Training was more his cup of tea. Since then he has worked with many international hotel chains. In his new capacity, Wong hopes to put his working experience to good use, leading the Training sessions and spearheading Sheraton Dubai Creek Hotel & Towers to greater heights in terms of service excellence.
Also new to the Sheraton Dubai Creek Hotel & Towers family is Patrizia Bernardi, its newly appointed Sales Account Manager.
Of Italian parentage, Bernardi, graduated from the Florence University (Economy and Management of Tourism). She has been with the Starwood family for many years, starting her career at the Reception Desk of Grand Hotel Firenze, a Luxury Collection property in Italy. Since then, she has moved from one property to another in Italy before embarking on the shores of Dubai. Prior to joining the Sheraton Dubai Creek, Bernardi was with the Sheraton Deira Hotel as its Sales Executive.
Throughout her career, she underwent several professional training courses including 'Communicate in the Company', SPG True Recognition and E-Commerce Training, amongst others. In her new role, Bernardi aims to increase the hotel's market share and revenues through her excellent selling skills.
Sheraton Dubai Creek welcomes new members
The 5-star Sheraton Dubai Creek Hotel & Towers recently announced the appointments of Wong Fatt Seng and Patrizia Bernardi as its new Training Manager and Sales Account Manager, respectively.
