The event was staged in aid of the Red Crescent Society and UNICEF after its successful run for two consecutive years.
Supported by title sponsor, DHL, the event enjoyed tremendous success with a total collection of AED120, 000, all raised from a combination of teams' entry contributions, corporate sponsorships, as well as an auction held during the prize giving dinner ceremony at the Sheraton Abu Dhabi Resort & Towers.
The proceeds, which represent an increase of 30% from last year's collection, will be equally divided between the Red Crescent Society and UNICEF, in support of their charitable programmes.
This year's event saw 25 golf teams, mainly made up of corporate companies vying for the top prizes with Al Fahim Group team emerging in first place.
