Batelco and UCA Group sign agreement to launch 02 products in Bahrain

Batelco and UCA Group (United Telecom) signed an agreement May 25th to launch 02 products, including the much anticipated Mighty Atom - the ultimate in mobile technology, in Bahrain.

The agreement marks United Telecom's entry into the Bahrain market, having established telecom handset distribution operations in the UAE and Saudi Arabia in 1994. Presently United Telecom distributes GSM PDA's in 18 countries across the region, from Turkey to India.

The agreement is a strategic move by Batelco to offer its customers the latest 02 PDA's and mobile handsets which boast the latest technological innovations in the mobile market today.

United Telecom's products, which make their debut in all Batelco Shops today (May 28th) are expected to attract much attention from Bahrain's technical savvy mobile customers. The exceptional 02 range caters to the needs of customers who demand top quality mobile products.

"Besides the opportunity to experience this excellent product range, customers visiting Batelco outlets will also be able to benefit from some very exciting and exclusive deals offered by Batelco in cooperation with United Telecom," said Batelco General Manager Corporate Affairs, Ahmed Al Janahi.
