e-TQM College Arabization and Publishing Center signs MoU with world-renowned author to publish popular TQM book

As per the agreement, the e-TQM College Arabization and Publishing Center will have exclusive license to Arabise and publish Harrington's works, including his latest book titled "Six Sigma Statistics Simplified - The easy-to-understand guide to Six Sigma and SPC Data Analysis."

H. James Harrington, the CEO of the US-based Harrington Institute Inc. and chairman of the board of Harrington Group, is a world-renowned quality professional with more than 55 years of experience in the field. Till date, he has published 22 books on the theories and practices of Total Quality Management.

"James Harrington is one of the world's most respected quality professionals, and has authored some of the seminal works on TQM. His new book on Six Sigma has been widely adopted in advanced countries, and bringing out an Arabised version of the same will allow readers in the Arabic-speaking world to benefit from the key insights the book provides," said Professor Mohamed Zairi, Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs, e-TQM College.

Dr. Najwa Dham, Dean of Academic Research and Director of Arabisation and Publishing, e-TQM College said, "Dr. Harrington's new book provides valuable information on TQM and is a simplified version of the Six Sigma concepts and other related topics that hold the key to the region's socio-economic development. The e-TQM College Arabization and Publishing Center has been fast building a reputation as the premier resource centre for quality principles and quality management, having already brought out 8 textbooks and reference books on Total Quality Management (TQM), three of which are translations to Arabic. The Arabization and Publishing Center was launched to address the lack of TQM resources in the Middle East and to increase awareness of TQM in the Arab World through knowledge dissemination, while supporting learners' acquisition of internationally registered publications in both English and Arabic.
