Citrix Netscaler application delivery solutions explained in recent ITS² Seminar

Held on 23rd May 2006, the event was held by IT security Training & Solutions-ITS² at the Four Seasons Hotel in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and was successfully attended by senior networking and security professionals, Citrix users and key business decision-makers from the Kingdom.

With key speakers from Citrix and erstwhile Netscaler, the seminar introduced delegates to Citrix's new application delivery technologies which will help organizations optimize secure access to web applications. With the Netscaler range of products, Citrix users across the globe are able to massively accelerate performance, with delivery of web applications increasing by 15 times. The products will also protect business-critical applications from malicious attacks and provide secure, accelerated application access.

Designed to increase security of web applications, the Citrix NetScaler Application Firewall is a hardened security appliance that blocks all known and unknown attacks against web application and web services. The Citrix NetScaler Application Accelerator is for enterprises seeking to maximize the performance of their Web applications and to provide clientless, secure remote access to these applications.

Complementing efforts to increase speed and security, the Citrix NetScaler Application Switch is a full-featured networking system that combines layer 4-7 load balancing and content switching with a full complement of application acceleration and security features.
