Huawei awarded certification for Data Communication and Optical Network Products

As telecom operators move towards delivering multiple carrier services, the industry has begun to evolve from utilising Metro Ethernet to Carrier Ethernet. MEF provides a quality standard framework of Carrier Ethernet services by clearly defining five core aspects, including protection, scalability, hard QoS, management and TDM support. These standards that MEF incorporates are so specific that it covers details related to user connections and many other links, hence ensuring Carrier Ethernet services for telecommunications operators.
