Over 200 tour operators, MICE and Incentive companies, meeting planners, corporates, media representatives and travel agents attended the roadshow and workshop to learn more about Dubai, its world class tourist facilities, superb infrastructure and quality of services.

The DTCM was joined by 22 co-participants from the private and public sectors and a special award was instituted for the "Best Co-participants Workshop Presentation." The winner was judged based on the attractiveness, creativity, display, tidiness and interaction between the clients, co-participants and invitees at the workshop.

An official welcome speech was delivered by Mr. Khalifa Ali Buamaim, DTCM Manager Overseas Promotions, followed by Mr. Pascal Maigniez, Director of DTCM Office in France.

All year-round sunshine, pristine beaches, a unique mix of high-tech and oriental flair, and prime conference and convention facilities contribute successfully to Dubai standing out as a perfect MICE destination in the international business travel market.

A variety of leisure activities and a wide range of sporting facilities - including skiing - make Dubai a MICE paradise.
