Dubai economy ranked 17th

Dubai's economy has been ranked the 17th most competitive out of a total of 61 top global economies in a study by a Swiss management institute, reported Gulf News. The International Institute for Management Development, alongside the Dubai Department of Economic Development, has published its Dubai in World Competitiveness Report 2005. The report ranked the emirate on its economic performance, government efficiency, business efficiency and infrastructure.
