DP World, Gwadar port talks

DP World is in discussions with Pakistani officials about taking over the operation of the Arabian Sea port of Gwadar, reported Gulf News. A DP World spokesperson said that the company had been informed it was the preferred bidder. The world's leading port management firm, Hutchison Port Holdings, earlier withdrew its bid for the port.
