Bin Sulayem reviews historic ties with Jordanian envoys

The Director General of the Dubai Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) Mr. Khalid A bin Sulayem met in his office today the Jordanian Consul General, Mr. Naif Al Zedan and the Commercial Attaché Mr. Samer Belkar.

Mr. bin Sulayem held discussions with the Jordanian diplomats about further strengthening Dubai's robust tourism links with Jordan. They agreed that Dubai and Jordan with a shared history, culture and heritage had much to benefit from closer cooperation, particularly in the field of travel and tourism.

He also praised the Jordanian government for the warm welcome and the reception that was accorded to the DTCM delegation when they visited Jordan recently.

Jordan and Dubai have shared traditionally friendly relations with year-on-year growth in the number of Jordanian visitors to Dubai.

The Jordanian Consul General also expressed optimism about Dubai's future as a glittering metropolis and a leading leisure and travel tourism destination in the world.
