"DED's mission is to expand the scope of commerce in Dubai and mylinkDubai offers a compelling e-commerce proposition for organizations from every industry, regardless of size. We anticipate that organizations will embrace mylinkDubai and gain significant and measurable new business opportunities within the first six months of activating their membership," said Ali Ibrahim, Deputy Director General for Executive Affairs at DED.
The new service, beneficial to buyers and seller, aims to jumpstart e-Commerce and position Dubai as an international business hub in the Middle East. mylinkDubai will enable companies to go online and network with a wider business community in Dubai and within the region. Under the new system, each company will receive a webpage to promote its products and services, setup an online showroom, conduct e-exhibitions, generate and respond to trade leads, attract new vendors and negotiate business deals online.
Market research has indicated that companies would invest a minimum of AED 6,000 annually to create a similar online presence - one that would not be linked to a national database. Members of mylinkDubai will be charged a nominal eCommerce Dirham fee of AED 200, which will be paid while issuing or renewing their trade licenses with the DED.

Through mylinkDubai.com, we are creating a direct and interactive channel to this vast business community while helping to fulfill Dubai's aspirations as an Internet-enabled economy,"
