Zio Technologies installs a Multi-million Dirham LED display at the Abu Dhabi Equestrian Club

This Multi-million dirham project implemented by the Dubai based ZIO Technologies LLC is the first of its kind in the world.

The concept is a brainchild of Adnan Sultan Saif Al Nuiami of the Abu Dhabi Equestrian Club and is the result of long standing vision of making the club one of the premiere clubs in the entire region.

This new addition compliments the equestrian clubs vision to build a state of the art experience based on international standards for sport enthusiasts, patrons and visitors to the The Club features amenities including an international standard racecourse, a spectacular show-jumping arena, a riding school, a flood-lit 9-hole grass-surfaced golf course, Golf Academy, tennis courts and swimming pool etc

The LED display, manufactured by Belgium-based Barco Events, complies with the stringent specifications as per TUV Europe regulations. The total project consists of LED Display Screen with a 60 square meters display area mounted on a trailer with latest hydraulics technology to enable it to be folded in to the trailer bed. The 'rotatable' screen stands on a single pole.

The display board is designed to operate in extreme climates including very high humid, windy or rainy conditions. The board is equipped with "ambient light controller" to adjust automatically to ensure optimal picture - day or night. The system is designed to be fully compliant with the IP65 environmental standards in self contained manner.

The trailer, attached to a heavy duty truck for fast mobility, has a fully air-conditioned control room with access from outside. It has a 42" rack with all the necessary equipment, power sockets with capability to receive TV Signals and direct feed from field cameras and which could be rebroadcast with video recording of each camera.
