Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting organizes its thirtieth annual party

With the attendance of a number of Gulf diplomatic and VIPs, H.E. Dr. Ahmed Khalil Al Mutawa, GOIC Secretary General, in his speech during the party stressed a number of important issues amongst them is the importance of planning and management in achieving GOIC goals. H.E. also assured the importance of the role played by GOIC's council represented in Gulf undersecretaries of ministries of industry in drawing its strategies and tracking its development programs.

Dr. Ahmed also talked about the importance of preserving the inheritance of knowledge which GOIC achieved during its 30 years as well as the importance of positioning GOIC experience as one of the prominent experiences in the fields of consultancy services and industrial development. "GCC member states represented in the ministries of industry, with the follow-up of their Excellencies the Council members, have put their trust in this entity; and as much as this trust makes us all feel proud, it requires a lot of duties and responsibilities.", said H.E. "and if the process of maintaining and preserving the achievements and inheritance of knowledge requires a big effort, then the real challenge is developing those achievements and greatening their benefit", Dr. Ahmed added.

Dr. Al Mutawa also pointed out that the occasion is not a matter of celebrating a number of years that have passed on this pioneering organization, but it is a celebration of the big steps which GOIC ahs passed so far and a celebration of the position which the organization has achieved in the world of thought, knowledge, industrial development and consultancy services; assuring at the same time that development real value can never be measured by age, it is a matter of achievements, and what GOIC has achieved so far urges us to celebrate and feel proud at the same breath.

GOIC Council is constituted of undersecretaries of the ministries of industry in GCC member states and the general secretariat in addition to an observing member on behalf of GCC General Secretariat; and the council conducts its meeting four times a year. Honoring the three officials is an appreciation of their efforts during their representation of their countries in the council in the passing period.
