ALDAR links with Knowledge Horizon

The move is part of a strategy to encourage and provide access to international standard training courses for ALDAR employees.

ALDAR has invested in the partnership to ensure that its' staff have full access to sales and marketing courses certified by the Institute of Sales and Marketing Management Management (ISMM) and Project Management through the University of Cambridge International Examinations.

Abdalla Zamzam, Chief Corporate Support Officer of ALDAR, explains that ALDAR's aim is to revolutionize the industry's environment by example, through proving that, "properly trained management, sales and marketing personnel make better business sense."

He said: "The real estate market in the UAE is in its infancy, but that doesn't mean that many of the issues we've seen arise in other corporations should not be addressed. By training our employees to international standards, we add further value to our business and customers.

He said that his vision for ALDAR's future knows no limitations, and this will be realized through the correct education of staff. "We aim to establish ALDAR as the most dynamic, innovative and prestigious real estate company in the region. To ensure that ALDAR is the most forward looking developer, we are investing in building knowledge."

Dr Maen Al Qatamin, President of Knowledge Horizon Middle East, said he was "extremely encouraged" by the partnership, and described the move as "pioneering" for both ALDAR and the real estate development industry in general.

On the ISMM side, Mr. Mike Foster, Regional Director, ME, South Asia and Europe, emphasised the significance of the partnership with ALDAR, for the benefit of the students and for the overall strategies of ALDAR. "The ISMM qualification is ideal for all corporations and businesses looking for upgrading the sales and marketing skills of their workforce and professionals.

Ms Chris Daw, Group Manager, Curriculum and Training Support, University of Cambridge International Examinations said the partnership will "ensure Quality education for ALDAR's personnel and reinforce the value of on-going training to assimilate state-of-the-art global methods and practices." Daw stressed the keenness of Cambridge International Examinations to provide quality education according to the highest standards.
