Philips launches its new DVD recorder to bring an enhanced FIFA viewing experience

Philips introduces its latest DVD recorder, DVDR3370H, making it easier for consumers to record whatever video and TV content they like.

Thanks to 250 GB high capacity, consumers are now entitled to of recording more than 318 hours of DVD-quality videos onto one storage place.

Philips DVDR3370H offers instant access to music, photos, and videos allowing you to run a photo slideshow with music playing in the background. This Philips product supports simultaneous playback of JPEG pictures and MP3 music. The files for simultaneous playback need to be stored in the same disc.

"This DVD recorder supports multiple DVD disc formats, making it easier for consumers to use whatever format they like. It also guarantees ease of use with its One touch recording feature."


DVDR3370H also supports DivX playback; an advanced digital media format that can compress video to a convenient size without losing any noticeable quality and play those videos back on almost any device.

The DVDR3370H also provides automatic 3 hour time shift buffer to make sure a program of up to 3 hours can be recorded without any interruption. "Pause Live TV" and "Instant Replay" are two features that ensure that the image on screen is paused while the temporary time shift recording or a permanent HDD recording is carried out, making it possible to resume playback from this PAUSE state as well as to directly jump back to the live broadcast.

Total simplicity is achieved with Dual Media, DVDR3370H does not make a difference between "minus" or "plus" discs (DVD+R/RW, DVD-R/RW), it is able to record on both types of discs. Unlike other DVD recorders, DVDR3370H records discs with full playback compatibility, which can be played back on any DVD player.
