RAK FTZ promotes its services in Egypt

The Ras Al Khaimah Free Trade Zone (RAK FTZ) announced yesterday the special offer for the Egyptian business people to be presented during the Inter Build Egypt Exhibition held from June 15-19 at the Cairo International Convention Canter.
Oussama El Omari, the zone's Director General and CEO said the tempting package will surely motivate many reputed Egyptian companies to register at the zone and benefit from the outstanding services and facilities the zone provides.
An official delegation from the zone traveled to Cairo of Egypt to take part at the fair and get in direct contact with the business community there. He added that the delegation will also visit Alexandria right after the fair to hold a road show in order to introduce the investors who have already been invited by the Egyptian Chamber of Commerce on the services and facilities provided by the zone.
Oussama El Omari noted that a toll free telephone line in Egypt will be dedicated to answer the queries of the Egyptian business people interested in investment in Ras Al Khaimah. El Omari said the Egyptian companies registered at the (RAK FTZ) comprise 10 per cent of the total number of the foreign companies registered at the zone. He added that following this official visit the number is expected to rise to 20 per cent.
He explained that the Orascom Hotels and Development of Egypt has recently announced the investment of $ 200 millions in "The Cove" real estate project which will construct134 five stars villas on Ras Al Khaimah shores. He added that another Egyptian giant Bahjat Group which owns Dream TV will start the construction of RAK Media Park along with the "Dream Industrial Park". He stressed that the zone is committed to the fast and simple administrative procedures with the use of the most advanced communication technology worldwide.
El Omar said the registration at the zone will enable the Egyptian business people to use the advantage of the emirate's market and penetrate new international markets. He added that the zone's participation at this Exhibition was an implementation of the zone's international marketing strategy to reach potential investors in their homelands and get them to invest at the zone and set their branches or new offices in Ras Al Khaimah.
