Batelco awards Arabian Network Information Services (anis) a multi-million dollar deployment & support agreement

The contract will serve Batelco's Internet platform as well as Batelco's entire corporate LAN (Local Area Network), which consists of high-end Cisco core routers spreading across the kingdom.

In addition, anis will be responsible for the provisioning of edge switches to all 160 Batelco locations. Furthermore, Batelco has also awarded anis the deployment of high-end HP Blade and Unix servers to run its mission-critical applications.

According to the agreement, anis will be dedicating a team of high-caliber, Cisco certified network professionals (CCIE) and HP experts to provide these services to Batelco. The services will also include professional services on a 24x7 basis and provision of all necessary replacement parts to repair and maintain equipment covered by the agreement.
