'Today's business environments must be open to change and ready to respond dynamically and flexibly to the changing demands within an open, efficient and secure framework,' said Wael Abdoush, Manager of Systems and Technology Group, IBM Middle East, Egypt & Pakistan. 'As Saudi organizations continue to place more demands on their technology, they too must innovate and create dynamic and flexible information systems. IBM and SAP solutions and services enable businesses to make the best use of their people, ideas, information and processes anywhere and anytime.'
'Companies need to align IT with business strategy in order to drive accelerated innovation and change. Yet IT is still seen to be lagging behind the business. Over the next five years, IT will become so deeply embedded into business that it will become part of the business process itself - in some cases driving the business process - rather than a support infrastructure lagging behind.' Said Essam Enany, President SAP Arabia. 'The objective of SAP's association with IBM is to deliver the best possible infrastructure to equip businesses in Saudi with the most relevant tools to operate in today's competitive global business environment.'
'The IBM & SAP Roadshow' will include sessions designed specifically for providing market-leading solutions to solve business problems within enterprises and beyond their extended value chain. IBM and SAP will provide businesses insights on how to utilize their resources in new and better ways to add more value to their business and realise higher efficiencies.
The SAP and IBM alliance reflects more than 30 years of leadership based on continuous innovation, collaboration and service. The two firms help businesses align and integrate their processes, communicate and collaborate in real-time with employees, suppliers and customers, conduct business and provide service within a secure, efficient and highly responsive framework that adjusts to demand as they occur. Today's businesses must have the flexibility to choose when and how to utilize the provided services to achieve growth and improved productivity.
'IBM and SAP provide businesses an enriched set of solutions and products which help enterprises move their businesses further, faster,' said Wael Abdoush. 'We enable businesses achieve growth through innovation, improved productivity and better use of resources. That's part of what we're going to be sharing with Saudi organisations on the road.'
