Citrix Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: CTXS), the global leader in access infrastructure solutions, today announced that three Citrix products - Citrix® NetScaler®, Citrix Password Manager™ and Citrix® Voice Office - were named Finalists in the Best New Product or Service category in the 2006 American Business Awards.

More than 1,500 entries from companies of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted for consideration in more than 40 categories, including Best Overall Company, Best Executive, Best New Product or Service, and Best Corporate Social Responsibility Program.

The Stevie Awards were created to honor and generate public recognition of the efforts, accomplishments and positive contributions of companies, products and business people worldwide. Beginning with The American Business Awards in 2002, The International Business Awards in 2003, and The Stevie Awards for Women Entrepreneurs in 2004, the awards' mission is to raise the profile of exemplary companies, products and individuals among the press, the business community and the general public.

"Citrix is honored to be a finalist in this year's American Business Awards for our Citrix NetScaler, Citrix Password Manager and Citrix Application Gateway product lines," said Antoine Aguado, Regional Manager, Citrix Systems Middle East.

"This recognition clearly validates our achievement in producing the most advanced application delivery solutions in the marketplace today, and exemplifies our ongoing commitment to our customers in the areas of application acceleration, security and IP telephony."

"Our qualification for the final stages is a clear reflection of our quality and dedication to enhancing Citrix's access solutions. In the Middle East, there is a great opportunity to reap the benefits of advanced access technology, and Citrix can certainly help organizations build efficiencies and cut operating costs. The recognition we have gained now will clearly help customers differentiate and understand the true value of access on-demand through Citrix," added Aguado.

"Being named a Finalist in The American Business Awards is an important achievement," said Michael Gallagher, founder and president of The Stevie Awards. "It means that independent business executives have agreed that the nominee is worthy of national recognition. We congratulate all of the Finalists on their achievement and wish them well in the competition."
