Distinguished journalists honored at 'LG Media Club' Beach Day

LG Electronics today held a special outing for the members of its exclusive press club at ANNAKHEEL Resort in Jeddah.
This event is being organized by LG Electronics to allow members of the LG team and partners to interact and share ideas with the media community and their families in an open and informal environment. During the event, members of the "LG Media Club" were presented with their LG Media ID Cards and distinguished journalists were presented with appreciation plagues as well.
The LG Media club is a unique corporate initiative promoted by LG Electronics to foster close cooperation and create better understanding within the media community of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. "We are delighted to network with our valued friends in the media through the LG Media club. LG Electronics understand and respects the key role they play in the social fabric of any society. Being the leader in the consumer electronics & home appliances sector, LG Electronics believes in playing a complementary role through our interactions with consumers who are a key element of society," said Mr.Cho, General Manager, LG Electronics - Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
"Together with the media, we can create a common platform to offer beneficial information to these consumers and also increase our corporate social responsibilities through effective programs".
LG Media club in Riyadh and the Eastern Province are due to open shortly. Membership to this club is open to all media businesses (print, visual and audio media) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Besides monthly appreciation, there will also be annual citations for the best editor, best article, best company news coverage and social events coverage that generated high interest from readers and consumers.
The LG Media Club is part of LG Electronics' strategy to support and highlight the vital contribution of media to the society and its valued support for companies operating in Saudi Arabia. As one of the world's leading player in the electronic industry, LG hopes to increase its involvement within the social environment in Saudi Arabia, which is considered to be one of the most dynamic markets in the region.
