The Exhibition will serve as a networking platform for businessmen from both countries and will include various seminars and workshops highlighting major business, trade and investment opportunities between the UAE and UK.
'The UAE and the United Kingdom have had strong economic and commercial ties for over half a century now. This exhibition will help consolidate, improve and expand these ties to include more comprehensive economic and technical aspects and also to activate the investment and joint projects.',

Abdullah Sultan Abdullah, General Secretary of the Federation of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry in the Press Conference last Sunday 11th June, 2006 accompanied by H.E John Hawkins, Consul General of the United Kingdom, H.E. Abdul Rahman G. Al Mutaiwee, Director General of Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry and Mr. Abdul Salam Al Madani, President of INDEX Holding at the Federation of UAE Chambers of Commerce & Industry Headquarters, Dubai.
This initiative is the collective effort exerted by the UAE Government departments and the corporate sectors. The prime objectives of the event will focus on creating strong awareness among the British Business sectors that the Emirate is a regional and international competitive free and pro business center in the Middle East. It will also serve to provide a platform where the business communities of both countries can express and exchange views with the objective to enhance and develop joint ventures in the medium and small business enterprises.
The UAE delegation will consist of Government departments and corporations, free zones, government industrial projects, real estate investment companies, commercial banks and investment corporations, financial and investment parks, investment funds and portfolios, and private companies. During the exhibition, the UAE delegation will discuss business investment with UK business decision makers from Small & Medium Enterprises (SME's), manufacturing industries with high-tech and long expertise, trading enterprises and companies seeking relocation in the Arabian Gulf Region, companies interested to establish distribution centres in the UAE, information technology companies, financial institutions, real estate and land development companies.
The forum session will cover business-oriented subjects such as business environment in the Emirates, industrial development, financial services & commodities, energy, logistics, & environmental technology, media, telecommunication & information technology, health care, real estate & development, tourism & related industries over the three days.
